Registration for new members will open around the beginning of March for the Winter season and around the end of August for the summer season.

How do I register an existing player?
Current Players will be contacted by the EJBC Registrar or current Team Manager regarding registrations for the next Season. We suggest keeping an eye on the Eagles Facebook page for updates too.

The Eagles have 6 different training locations: HBF Arena Joondalup, Mater Dei college Edgewater, Craigie & Woodvale Highschool’s and St Stephens school in Carramar as well as Heathridge Community Centre. The day, time and location are depended on the coach and availability. So at time of registration is it difficult to tell as teams may need to find coaches or teams need to agree on a day.

Jerseys are to be worn for games only. They are not to be worn for training or any other activity outside of WBA facilitated games.
Who will Coach?
Each team requires a volunteer coach (or two). Typically a player’s family member volunteers for this role. Coach training is organised through WBA and the Eagles have a Coaching Coordinator who is happy to support where needed. Feel free to contact our Coaching Coordinator.
If a teams find an external coach who is not related to any of the players, a Working with Children Check is required. The coach needs to provide the card or certification before training commences.
Do coaches get equipment?
No. But the Eagles provide all coaches with $50 per season to be able to purchase any equipment required.
Who are the Team Managers and what do they do?
Each team requires a volunteer to manage the team. The team manager acts as a focal point between the team and the club. The team manager is the off-court backbone of the team. They collect & distribute Jerseys, trophies, communications, and work with the club to resolve issues where required. Please refer to the Eagles Manager Manual for more detailed information.
What happens if an Eagles team plays an Eagles team?
If you are playing another Eagles team please ask your Team Manager to confirm that you aren’t in the same jersey colours! WBA do not permit bibs or turning Jerseys inside out. If there is a clash, please reach out to the EJBC Uniform Officer at least one week in advance.
